Perfect for tortillas, salads, burritos, nachos and more!

Homemade guacamole is so much better than store bought, once you make your own you will never go back!

Ensure you use fresh ingredients to get the best flavours and eat it as soon as possible after making.

You can whip this up in about 5 minutes and add it to so many dishes such as nachos, fajitas, salads, buritos or use as a dip with your favourite crisps!

Go give it a try...

How do we do it?

A bowl of fresh, tangy deliciousness! I didn't add any fresh chilli to my guac as we aren't big fans of too much heat in our house, but I did sprinkle a few chilli flakes in. However, it is traditional to use fresh red chilli so if you like the heat then be sure to add one in.

Recipe - serves 2 | c.177 cal per serving

  • 1 Large Avocado

  • Pinch Salt

  • Juice 1/2 Lime

  • 2 Garlic Cloves

  • 1/4 Red Onion

  • 2 Baby Plum Tomatoes

  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Coriander

  • 1 Fresh Chilli

Method

1. Spoon out avocado into a bowl and mash using the back of a fork.

2. Next add a pinch of salt and the lime juice.

3. Crush the garlic cloves and add to the mixture stirring well.

4. Finely chop the onion, tomatoes and coriander and stir in well to combine.

5. If you are adding chilli, finely chop that also and stir in well.

6. Serve and enjoy!

Tips

If you like a smoother consistency chop all ingredients really finely, if you like a chunkier guacamole then you can roughly chop everything and chop the avocado more into chunks than mashing into a paste.

I get loads of my ingredients from Buy Wholefoods Online check them out as they have such a range of products at great prices.
