Creamy Breakfast Bircher

A tasty breakfast treat!

This is a combination of overnight oats and bircher muesli, it is super quick to prepare and then you can leave overnight so the oats and chia soak up all the flavours and liquid.


I love the creamy texture, plus it's a nice breakfast option to play around with and add in things that you like.


I love topping my oats with fruit and nut butter!



How do we do it?

A simple, creamy and filling breakfast packed full of good stuff!


Recipe - Serves 2

  • 1 Cups Oats

  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds

  • 1 Apple

  • 1 Carrot

  • 2 Tsp Cinnamon

  • Handful Raisins

  • 1 Cup Plant Milk

  • 1/2 Cup Plant Based Yoghurt


Method

1. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and stir to combine. Grate in the apple and carrot, stir well.


2. Pour in plant milk and yoghurt and stir well so all ingredients are covered.


3. Pour your mixture into an airtight container and leave in the fridge overnight to allow the chia seeds and oats to soak up all the liquid.


4. Serve and top with nut butter and fruits. Enjoy!


Tips

You can't really go wrong with this recipe! If you like fairly runny oats then add in some more plant milk and vice versa.


You can also mix your nut butter in to leave over night instead of putting it on top when serving.



Play around with toppings and also any additions you may want to try putting into the oats such as pear, nuts, seeds etc.
